What obstacles do surveyors face on an island?
Island surveying is often considered challenging due to the remote locations and the way island properties are typically developed. When the National Park Service (NPS) needed survey services for their land on Isle Au Haut, an island nine miles off the coast of Maine, they turned to the OEST survey team. Our surveyors lived in a cabin for four months in order to accomplish the NPS’s goals.
