OEST Associates, Inc., an AMEC company has an immediate
opening for an Electrical Engineer with experience designing electrical
systems for buildings. This position requires knowledge of power distribution,
lighting design, fire alarm and security systems, NEC and other related
NFPA building codes. Job will entail working for a variety of client types
including municipal, industrial, commercial, educational and federal government.
Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Registration
• Minimum of 10 years experience as Electrical Engineer for government,
municipal and/or industrial projects
• Must have excellent knowledge and experience in applying the National
Electrical Code as it relates to electrical design
• Must be able to design service entrance, feeder and branch circuits,
lighting, fire alarm, security system, communications systems, emergency
power and power distribution equipment
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Ability to mentor junior staff
• Comfortable and effective with clients and contractors as direct
interface
• Experience with electrical analytical software, and Microsoft
office
• Reliability and integrity
